My name is Berislava Cavanaugh. I am a preservice elementary school teacher and a graduate student at SUNY Oswego. I have created this web page for my EDU 595 class, and this is an excellent opportunity for me to share my knowledge and teaching philosophy with others.
I believe that to live is to learn and that everybody is capable of learning. Teacher’s main job is to help students construct knowledge and to lead them to higher levels of knowledge such as application, analysis, and synthesis.
Teachers influence their students’ lives in a great measure. My desire is to be a good and positive influence in my students’ lives. This web page contains different artifacts that reflect my teaching philosophy and knowledge of education that I have acquired so far.
